PAPER REVIEW PROCESS

All papers submitted to the TULCAS 2026 – International Conference on Trends in Language, Culture and Applied Studies will undergo a peer-review process to ensure academic quality and scientific standards. Submitted papers will first be evaluated by the Editorial Board through a preliminary review. During this stage, submissions will be assessed based on:

• Relevance to the conference theme and scope
• Scientific quality and originality
• Compliance with the conference formatting and submission guidelines

Only submissions that successfully pass the preliminary evaluation will proceed to the peer-review stage.

Papers that pass the editorial screening will be evaluated by reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Based on the reviewers’ reports, one of the following decisions may be given:

• Accepted
• Accepted with Revision
• Rejected

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ comments. Accepted papers will be included in the conference programme as oral presentations. TULCAS 2026 adopts the principles of academic integrity, impartiality and scientific quality throughout the evaluation process.

Publication Ethics and Scientific Integrity

All submissions to TULCAS 2026 must comply with internationally accepted publication ethics and academic integrity principles. By submitting a paper, the authors declare that:

• The submitted work is original.
• It has not been published previously or submitted simultaneously to another conference or publication.
• All sources and references have been properly cited.
• Ethical principles have been observed throughout the research process.

Scientific misconduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Plagiarism
• Data fabrication or falsification
• Ghost authorship or gift authorship
• Duplicate or redundant publication

Any submission found to violate publication ethics may be rejected or removed from the review process. TULCAS 2026 follows the ethical principles recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all borrowed ideas, quotations and sources are appropriately acknowledged.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

• Using text or ideas from other works without proper citation.
• Unauthorized use of another author's research or data.
• Republishing previously published work without appropriate disclosure.

Papers found to contain plagiarism may be rejected or withdrawn from the review process.

Copyright and Publication Policy

The copyright of accepted papers remains with the authors. By submitting a paper to TULCAS 2026, authors agree that their work may be:

• Presented during the conference.
• Published in the conference proceedings or other official conference publications, subject to the publication preferences announced by the organizing committee.

For an accepted paper to be included in the conference programme and publications, at least one author must complete the conference registration and present the paper.

Indexing Policy

Accepted and presented papers may be published in the conference proceedings or other publication formats announced by TULCAS 2026. The organizing committee may submit eligible publications to appropriate academic databases and indexing services.

Potential indexing services may include:

• Google Scholar
• Crossref DOI Registration System
• Academic Open Access Databases
• International Conference Indexing Platforms

Indexing decisions are subject to the independent evaluation criteria of the relevant databases and indexing services. Therefore, the TULCAS 2026 Organizing Committee cannot guarantee inclusion in any specific indexing platform. Nevertheless, all necessary academic applications will be made to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the published papers.
